Summary

Stress is a term used to describe how you feel and respond when the pressure you’re under exceeds your ability to cope. 

A certain amount of stress can be positive as it can help you to prepare for actions and challenges.But too much can lead to burnout, causing both mental and physical problems.

Dr Luke Powles, Clinical Director at Bupa UK, shared with The Metro how to spot the signs of burning out and how to prevent it.
