Bupa Hong Kong partnership promoting health and wellbeing in the local community

Summary

Bupa Hong Kong Health Services has partnered with the Hong Kong Young Women's Christian Association (HKYWCA) on the Go Digital Healthcare Campaign, focusing on using health-tech equipment and tools to raise awareness of health risks within local communities.

Opening the doors to their newly renovated health and wellness centre, HKYWCA hosted a “Health Promotion Day” for local Hong Kong residents. And as a result, over 100 people are now better aware of their general health and wellbeing following health tests, educational seminars, exhibitions and advisory services.

To support the event we donated digital Atrial Fibrillation (AF) devices which help identify symptoms and potential risk factors for strokes and heart diseases. And our nursing team were on hand to carry out tests and offer bespoke health advice following assessments.

Our partnership will continue over the year, with similar events in health centres across Hong Kong providing local communities with free health advice and support.
